Blueberries Galore

Have you heard about these new super-duper wild blueberries coming from Central and South America? They are supposed to have 2 to 4 times more antioxidants than the blueberries we all know and love (native to North America)... Need a little refresher on what antioxidants are? I usually just say, vitamins A, E, C, and selenium, but I will let Google help with a more detailed answer...
  1. A substance that inhibits oxidation, esp. one used to counteract the deterioration of stored food products.
  2. A substance such as vitamin C or E that removes potentially damaging oxidizing agents in a living organism.
What are their magical powers?
They're essential in optimizing our health by helping combat free radicals, that can damage our cellular structures (including our DNA)... Benefit's from antioxidants are felt in our nervous system and our Brain (boosting memory power).

I have not found a place that sells fresh wild blueberries quite yet, but I will make sure to keep our North American ones in my belly as frequently as possible! Last selling point I'll leave you with: just one cup a day can lower your risk of all cancers!
