Taking Time

This past summer I had forgotten just how important reading was to me. I had not picked up a book or news paper in over two months, which is long considering I usually spend (at minimum) an hour reading some form of written word.

A couple weeks ago, I started craving books again, but could not find the time to actually sit down and start reading...what happens to time? Where does it go and what in the world do I do all day that makes time dissipate so?

I do not have the answer to those questions, but I do know that being conscientious of time and what we do with "it" is vital to happiness and fulfillment. Ask yourself what you can do for one hour of the day and do it! Whether it's taking a walk, calling a friend, or even reading a good book, the connection will help you stay grounded and happy.

What book am I reading?

An excellent book to have forever! With Holidays around the corner, it's a great buy for family and friends as well. Check it out at your local bookstore or online!

  2. That is so funny! Yes life moves so very fast, but taking the time to enjoy our favorite things is so important! All we can do is try to slow down and remember we have one chance in our one bodies at this one time in the world.
